About this Social Media and Marketing Campaign Project
Learning is just fun. Knowledge is empowering. Sharing what we know connects us to each other and to our world; it’s what helps us innovate and improve. So when the educational technology company Blackboard decided to launch a social media campaign and website designed to celebrate learning, the Consensus team was all-in.

We worked closely with our client, Blackboard, to understand their business goals and target audiences, as well as the new brand identity and guidelines they were getting ready to roll-out. Working on a tight timeline we created 2 things: 100daysoflearning.com and creative for the print and digital media campaign.

The home-base of this campaign was designed in Blackboard’s new brand look and feel, and developed on a very short time-frame. The fully-responsive web experience brings together the essential elements of this campaign in a simple, rich experience. Anchored by a brilliant image, the site showcases an extensive social media feed, key messaging from Blackboard, a contest entry form and integration with Eloqua for lead-generation.

Digital and Print Media Campaign Development
Consensus developed copy and creative assets for an extensive print and digital marketing campaign targeting consumers, clients and an internal employee audience. Starting with posters for teacher lounges and international partners, every asset for this campaign was created with the goal of immediately inspiring the consumer to start their own journey to #100DaysOfLearning. We combined stunning imagery with unexpected and inspiring facts to appeal to a global audience of all ages and backgrounds. And we used our team of writers and designers to support the internal Blackboard marketing team, creating web banners, customized email templates, social media tiles and the launch announcement.

At Consensus, when we say “Love the Experience” — we don’t just mean the digital experiences we create for users. We mean the experience of working together — including the comfortable, honest relationships we build with every one of our clients. So we were thrilled to get this note from Blackboard’s senior manager of digital marketing, Kylie Johnson, the morning we launched #100DaysOfLearning: “We wanted to share our gratitude with you guys for the AWESOME web, design, and copy work. This project really would not have come together without your contributions.”

Celebrating the things we learn everyday is just fun. We were thrilled to help Blackboard launch this campaign designed to create deeper connections to their customers.
